Field Of Forgotten Fire

CONCEPTUAL  INTRODUCTION

◉ A full 3D visual novel with psychological horror elements and progressive puzzles that will take you down a hauntingly melancholic story made in Unreal Engine 5.

◉ Including a mini-game challenge mode that will give you control of a sword-wielding floating Mask.

GAMEPLAY  AND  STORY

◉ You’ve come to the fields by hazy forces and now standing before you lies an unknown tomb.

 
Three words echo across the fields in your head…

A Blade …  A Hand … A Knife ….

All of your past belongings have been scattered about in the field. As you progress, each scene is laid out and navigable with dynamic changing camera angles with mystery in each shot.

Your actions and decisions will influence the final message revealed to you
as to whom may have been laid to rest under that tomb.

There is a dynamic Time Of Day system you can change during gameplay to control the atmosphere and lighting conditions. This can used purely for preference, or to look for differences in each Time Of Day.

FIRETRAP  MINI  CHALLENGE

◉ This has become the second pillar of the whole experience, with more action, movement, and style in the gameplay. 

To loosen up your fingers ive decided to add a more demanding side game where you play as the very mask that follows you in your main journey. It is equipped with a little sword that has many abilities and combos to fight back at the demons that grip you in the main story.

You stand off against other masks that carry a blade of their own. With other challenging enemies and puzzles to solve, along with full 3D arenas inspired by locations connected to the infamous field.

This mode can be accessed at the start of the main menu, but it is highly recommended the main story is played through or at least known by the player before entering the Mini Challenge arenas!

This project is still in development but is close to completion. I'm Solo on this project and I've been working on this for about two years. but I hope to release both future demos and eventually full game on Steam before or after Halloween.

I hope you can donate anything and help me save 100 dollars to pay for migrating this to Steam for a full release!
